The Yorker Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 21st February 2018 at 7pm in room ATB 056. If you have ever fancied writing, editing, or simply want to try something new, then now is the opportunity. Here at the Yorker we are always looking for keen new members and on Wednesday all our current Editorial and Managerial positions will be open for election.
Sometimes it can be easy to simply stay afloat and keep on top of your degree work, without trying something new. Becoming affiliated with the Yorker will offer a new challenge for those seeking something more than just their degree work. We have positions available from Sports Editor to Technical Director. To run for a position, we ask that you attend our meeting on Wednesday 21st February and make a short statement explaining why you would be suitable for the role and what experience you would bring to the job. It would also be an opportunity to express any ideas you have about our organisation or your role. If you cannot make the meeting, do not fret. We are also taking manifestos by email which will be read out on the night – these should be no more than half a page and should be emailed to: email@example.com
