York Win Roses 2015

For the 28th time in Roses History, the university of York lifted the Carter James Trophy earlier today following the men’s rugby union 1sts game.

The trophy was secured at midday, with the winning quota of 185 points reached after York won the cross country running event.

YUSU President Sam Maguire thanked Sports President Cass Brown and everyone involved earlier this evening.

Well done Cass, and all the people who worked with her to make this Roses amazing.

The final scores stood at 225.5 points to York against Lancaster’s 139.5.
